NTU is a great place to work. We take care of our colleagues with flexible and competitive packages, and the opportunities for genuine professional progress. We respect and value all our staff, because we know that it takes a strong and diverse workforce to maintain the kind of success we’ve achieved.
Our award-winning research is celebrated around the world, and we’re proud of our strategic partnerships. It’s all down to the ability of our people to shape, create and innovate, in whatever capacity they work with us. Our continued success — underpinned by the number of prestigious national awards we’ve won — has hinged on two commitments: creating excellent global collaborations, and harnessing the talents of all our people.
NTU is a university at the peak of its powers, but we know we can still go even further. Join us in our mission to become ‘the university of the future’ — seize the challenge and adventure of working with an organisation where progress never stops. This is your career, reimagined.
The Academic Registry at NTU is seeking a highly motivated and organised Student Conduct Officer to the Policy & Regulations Team. The role will deal mainly with serious non-academic misconduct, covered in Student Code of Behaviour. The role holder will have a good understanding of the challenges that students face, along with experience of dealing with disciplinary cases.
The successful candidate will join a positive and effective team with a challenging and varied caseload. You will need expert administration skills, decision making skills, exceptional verbal and written communication skills and team working skills. The post involves working with a range of staff from across all sections of the University, along with regular meetings with students so excellent communication skills are essential. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, as well as the ability to prioritise their own workload and have highly developed organisational, administrative and customer focused service skills. Experience of applying policy or regulations would be a particular asset to this role.
Please include a covering letter in your application, detailing how your experience matches the job description and person specification.
If you have any specific queries in relation to this position, please contact Angela Constable, Academic Registrar Manager, Policy & Regulations via email [email protected].
