An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, enthusiastic registered nurse to work within the Institute of Nursing and Midwifery Care Excellence, as a Practice Educator for tNA’s.

This is an exciting time to be part of the Institute of Care Excellence, with education and development central to the delivery of high quality care, patient safety and the support and retention of learners new to NUH. Our Wider Workforce education team provides support for Healthcare Assistants, HCA Apprentices, Trainee Nursing Associates through to Degree Nurse apprenticeships.
We also work closely and support the Practice Education and International Nurses teams to develop our workforce.
Main duties of the job
You will be a clinical and professional role model with excellent leadership skills, a passion for high quality education, experience of supervising and assessing in clinical practice, clinical teaching and facilitating groups and staff development skills.
You will be visionary and passionate about creating a high quality learning environment in practice. An effective team player but also able to plan and organise your own workload; possess excellent communication skills, and ability to constructively challenge poor practice and influence change.

Salary: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
