We are looking for an experienced, empathic and driven person to join us at the NSPCC to help prevent child sexual abuse. Together for Childhood is an innovative and ambitious project, focussed on Preventing Child Sexual Abuse in Stoke on Trent by bringing about change through collaborative working with the community.

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to develop and share your knowledge and expertise in a creative, dynamic and supportive working environment. You will be supervised and supported by an experienced Team Manager and Impact and Development Manager, and work within a constructive; experienced and supportive team of fellow professionals.
The post holder will need to be confident to speak about sexual abuse with children and adults to support them to design and develop activities and resources that support the prevention of Child Sexual Abuse.
You will need to have knowledge and experience of working with children, young people and families and ideally have a background and interest in the Early Years sector.
You will have demonstrable success of implementing new projects, delivering sustainable plans that have a focus on reach, engage and change. You will have a can-do, outcome focussed attitude with the courage to take a stand for all children.
The right candidate will have the skills to deliver community activities, support development and improvement plans, become a trusted point of contact for the community, engage children and young people in direct work and influence and enable others to take action when they are worried about a child.
We are therefore seeking a practitioner who is self-motivated, resourceful, creative and a clear and confident communicator. You will have the ability to work alongside key partners and Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise organisations to support the achievement of the Together for Childhood ambition to prevent child sexual abuse.
