Nylene Canada a world class manufacturer of Engineering Plastics, located in the heart of the Ottawa valley, Arnprior, Ontario has an immediate career opportunity for a Laboratory Technician.

Nylene Canada requires an energetic, motivated and career-minded Laboratory Technician responsible for performing chemical and physical analysis on routine and non-routine samples using wet and instrumental chemical techniques and physical test instrumentation. Calculates, records, plots and communicates results in a timely manner so that processes may be monitored and product may be released for sale.

Previous laboratory& Microsoft applications (Excel) experience would be an asset but is not required. Training is provided.

The technician must be self-motivated and able to work well without close supervision. The technician requires some problem solving ability and good judgement to solve minor equipment and test problems and to react in emergencies/upsets.

All duties of the Laboratory Technician are to be preformed according to Nylene Canada operating procedures in order to maximize the safety of all personnel at the work site and to efficiently perform the task.
