NZ Post Hiring for Processing Officer Job at Hamilton , New Zealand Full Time

This is a great opportunity for you to work within a dedicated team who contribute to making New Zealand Post a great place to work. As a Processing Officer, your role is critical to customer experience in ensuring freight or product is sorted, processed and dispatched correctly so our couriers receive it for delivery on time.

We are currently offering contract positions (October 2021 to January 2022) with various full time, 40hr per week rosters. We have varied start times to suit your lifestyle; you might be an early riser or a night owl or you may need later starts to drop the kids to school. Whatever your situation we have a shift pattern that works for you!

Available Rosters:

• AM – Monday – Friday, from 9:30pm – 6:00am
• PM – Monday – Friday, from 1:00pm – 9:30pm
• Day – Monday – Friday, from 6:00am – 2:30pm

In this dynamic job you will:

• Sort our customer’s parcels and freight based in at Hamilton Operations Centre
• Dispatch correctly to our couriers to ensure they can deliver on time
• Handle freight in a careful and professional manner
• Liaise with various internal contacts to solve problems and raise issues where required

• Pride themselves on being flexible and reliable
• Are natural team players that enjoy working as a team to put our customer’s first
• Be ready for a physically demanding role – heavy lifting is required
• Be a committed teammate who puts customers first
• Enjoy working hard and be confident managing your time
• Have an accurate eye for detail
• Have good geographical knowledge
