A Day in the Life:
Maintain and enter employee data in the HRIS system and ensure data integrity and consistency, including but not limited to: new hires, terminations, personal changes, reporting to and organizational changes
Collect new hire paperwork and review for completion and missing information
Maintain personnel file accuracy, including filing records in digital/paper files, and follow up on signed paperwork
Provide Business Partners and Talent Acquisition with drafts of team member paperwork
Provide operational support to People Initiatives
Perform audits and controls to ensure compliance and integrity of HR data
Administer and maintain system security, ensuring privacy and protection of employee information
Execute system modifications, updates and any other change requests
Participate in HRIS troubleshooting, configurations, enhancements, upgrades, testing, implementations and development of streamlined processes
Maintain data interfaces and integrations between HR systems
Configure, maintain and ensure accuracy of documents included in HRIS
Document all processes, workflows, and related system activities for system users
Participate in the development of test strategies, define scenarios, and perform unit, integrated and regression tests, if needed
Provide technical guidance to People team staff, management and employees across all brands
Act as an HRIS subject matter expert and propose suggestions to improve and evolve our systems and processes
Prepare regular and ad hoc reports for team members and senior management
Participate in the implementation of human resources related system project and the implementation of all new HR technology tools and solution
What You Bring to the Table:
Experience in an HR capacity is not required, but passion for all things HR is!
High level of accuracy and attention to detail for our high-volume hiring in our Sales Centre
Accountability for own work, integrity and high work ethic
Ability to learn from mistakes and reflect to ensure continuous improvement
Highly organized with strong time management skills
An understanding of database management
Experience working in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing demands and deadlines and maintain composure
Strong verbal and written communication skills, treating everyone with the utmost respect
Ability to work independently and within a team
Can-do attitude with the mindset that no job is too big or too small
