OEC Group Hiring for Sales – Freight Forwarding at Dallas, Texas Full Time

OEC Group is one of the largest freight forwarders in the US with offices all over the world. We’re looking to add sales people to our Dallas office. As a Logistics Consultant, you will be responsible for prospecting, engaging and closing new accounts – all focused on building and maintaining relationships with your very own customer base.

Responsibilities:

• Developing relationships with customers and generating new business

• Forming a customer base by cold calling, issuing quotes, preparing bids and making formal presentations to prospective customers

• Soliciting OEC Group’s services which include Ocean Import, Air Import, Ocean Export, Air Export, Distribution & Warehousing, LTL Transportation and Cargo Insurance and Customs Brokerage

• Maintaining communication with the Operations/Customer Service Departments and overseas offices

Qualifications:

• Entrepreneurial mindset

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Strong customer service and communication skills. Sales experience preferred.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel

• The ability to learn quickly and work efficiently to meet productivity goals

• Good organizational skills as this position requires working with multiple departments and following up with clients and prospects
