Required Qualifications:
BS or MS degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.
1-3 years engineering experience in a software development environment.
Demonstrated ability to write great code.
Ability to write class-based unit tests.
Strong desire to make an impact and thrive in collaborative and energetic environments.
Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts verbally and through design aspects.
Preferred Qualifications:
Design and development of Java Services and Restful Web Services.
Agile Software Design Principles (Scrum).
JIRA, Maven, Git, Github, Jenkins, and Crucible in software development iterations.
Oracle databases using JDBC and Hibernate.
Client production support using tools like Splunk and New Relic.
Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using Cucumber.
Experience developing automated tests using JUnit.
Healthcare domains (FHIR, HL7, Cerner) and concepts (Patient Registration, Insurance Coverage and Eligibility, etc.).
Responsibilities:
As a member of the software engineering division, you will help define and develop software enhancements within the existing software architecture of the Revenue Cycle Registration and Eligibility suite of services. You will need to ensure that the software developed is scalable, performant, and resilient to provide the best possible experience for our healthcare providers and patients utilizing the system. Associated tasks will include designing, implementing services, implementing automated tests, investigation, and debugging applications and services.

Hiring Range: from $62,100 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
