Old Mill Marina Hiring for Parts and Service/Office Manager Job at Dorset Full Time

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily business operations of the Service Department & Office
• Accountable for the profitability of the Service Department
• Provide highest level of customer service
• Manage customer calls and emails
• Maintain strong existing customer relationships and help grow network of new customers
• Create Work Orders for Service Staff as per the customers’ issues
• Delegate, schedule and manage Service Staff & Office Staff
• Organize and prepare parts for Work Orders
• Identify and execute operational efficiencies within the Service Department & Office
• Minimize wait times for part sales, sourcing and ordering
• Oversee and implement inventory control exercises, price changes, and signage
• Assess basic marine mechanic issues
• Organize, prepare and execute 3rd party repairs
• Preparation of formal Reports and Invoices submitted to customers
• Report directly to GM
• Front of house management in GM’s absence
• Summer staff management
• Oversee Store, Fuel Dock, and Patio Operations
• Provide customer service to all customers
• Oversee daily marina operations
• Open & Close marina

Skills and Experience

• Experience dealing with customers in a service and parts environment
• Experience managing an office environment and/or administrative/receptionist role
• Experience in interpreting technical calls related to equipment with mechanical, electrical and/or hydraulic issues
• Computer literate with Excel, Word, Google Suite
• Ability to work in a team environment to achieve team, departmental, and corporate goals
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Can manage multiple tasks on a daily basis with exceptional prioritization ability
