Responsibilities:
- Shipment entries/ conversion & sending of arrival notices to customers, payment requisition, prepare D/O for clearance/trucking, scanning & filing of documents into Kendox Archive.
- Releasing of D/O & collecting of payment for those customers arranging for their own clearance.
- Permits declaration & submission to carriers.
- Proper/ accurate & fast billing.
- Check job costing for every file handled and ensure no losses.
- Month end closing.
- Verify incoming invoices & dispute with overseas offices/ agents or our vendors if charges are wrongly billed.
- Coordination with customers or overseas offices/ agents for shipping documents and delivery address.
- Quotation to agents.
- Booking in of vendors’ or creditors’ invoices.
- Follow up/ chase for payment (COD & GST)
- Any other duties as may assigned by the Company’s Management from time to time.
Requirements:
- Advantage in freight forwarding industry
- Knowledge with Cargowise One System will be an added advantage.
- Able to work individually and also in a team
