One of the largest tertiary admissions centres in Australia, recognised as the leader in technology platforms within their industry is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help them with their current project.
You will be working on systems that process 150,000 education applications every single year, they are being re built on React, Node, Typescript & AWS. The projects is building brand-new systems using modern workflows and rules engines, with a touch of smart recommendation using AI and machine learning.
Technical Requirements
Node, Typescript, AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway S3 and serverless frameworks
Essential “back-end
AWS
” plus the below:
Seasoned data modelling with DynamoDB and RDBMS (relational database aka SQL) commercial experience
Integration experience with different web services and middleware
Production deployment experience on AWS
Solid understanding of automation processes
Design, architect and build scalable back-end application from scratch
Ability to read and customise open-source libraries when necessary
