About the opportunity

We are looking for Associate Software Engineers to deliver well-structured, clean, and testable code .This role will provide you a collaborative and learning environment where you would be generally required to undertake straightforward tasks, work under routine direction against established priorities and procedures while exercising some autonomy. You are responsible for the completion of allocated tasks within required timeframes and producing work that is subject to review by more experienced team members.

This isn’t your everyday .Net role as you’ll be working in an agile environment where your creativity and innovation will be encouraged and supported. We’re a mission-driven team, focussed on delivering the most amazing experience for our customers. Your role is critical in this as you encourage the development of high-quality applications by writing appropriate unit, integration and behavioural tests.

The bit about you

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field and relevant technical experience with software applications.
• Close to 2 years of experience in .NET Framework or .NET Core , C# is desired.
• Knowledge or experience with Cloud concepts (AWS/Azure) would be preferred.
• You also need excellent communication, coding, and analytical problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work as part of a team.
• You must have full working rights in Australia.

How you would contribute to the role

• Design, code, verify, test, document, amend and refactor complex programs/scripts
• Apply agreed standards and tools, to achieve well-engineered outcomes
• Collaborate in reviews of work with others as appropriate

• Create and document detailed designs for simple software applications or components applying agreed modelling techniques, standards, patterns and tools
• Contribute to the design of components of larger software systems
• Review own work
• Apply data analysis, design, and modelling techniques to establish, modify or maintain a data structure and its associated components (entity descriptions, relationship descriptions, attribute definitions)
