Job Description
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

Oracle Healthcare is a new business unit, founded during the pandemic to better serve our healthcare clients. We are working with providers, payors to help improve the patient experience by building next generation cloud native products.Oracle will play a significant role in helping transform the healthcare industry while ushering in a new era of patient lifecycle management driven by outcome-focused and consumer-centric care models.
As a developer, you will be part of the team responsible for delivering healthcare products. This position will focus on making sure our clients systems deliver relevant, timely information at scale. As such, these are some of the key qualifications below.
Requirements:
8+ years experience building complex web based applications.
Experience working on Microservices architecture with strong Java.
Experience writing well-maintainable RESTful web services
Good knowledge of SQL and RDBMS database design and JDBC
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (i.e. git)
A hands-on, engaged approach to solving problems
Excellent communication skills and experience in collaborative environments
The desire to be continually learning about emerging technologies/industry trends
Knowledge of software architecture
Project management
Working knowledge of front-end technologies like React,Angular, Javascript
Nice to have:
Healthcare industry experience is a plus
Knowledge about HL7/FHIR specifications
Working with Big data technologies like Kafka, Cassandra
