Job Description
As a member of the SecIntel Development team you will work with executive leaders and multiple security teams to provide holistic executive reporting on cybersecurity posture of our environments. Position is an entry level developer that will do daily tier1 maintenance and root cause analysis to resolve issue on daily runtime execution processes for reporting. Entry level coding in python wheel code base for projects. Work with business analyst to isolate data patterns, issue, and capture. The primary platforms for this position are considered to be a full-stack complex hybrid architecture connecting on-prem servers, PowerBi(report tools), secure FTP, and SQL/Oracle databases with multiple cloud services of OCI & Azure using a Python base code deployed via a Python wheel deployment to all environments for consistency and efficiency.
CIS, Software Engineer/Developer Degree or equivalent degree or experience
Basic Qualifications
Experience or class work Python, Objected-Oriented programming, Relational Database principals
Intermediate level of knowledge of cloud service(preferred OCI and/or Azure) in ETL/Compute experience and/or Cloud storage and orchestration
Preferred Qualifications
CICD and/or Agile Process Understanding
Knowledge of:
Python and Objected Oriented coding methodologies
Relational databases
Responsibilities
-Analyze, design, code, debug, test and modify new software or enhancements while considering software abilities
-Root cause analysis of code issues and engage appropriate level of team to resolve issue
-Provide new insights to current architecture and enhancements to code to be more efficient and streamlined
-Help transition existing cloud based processes to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
-Consult with stakeholders on current functionality and complexity of daily tier1 issue until resolved
-Estimate effort for current and future projects of small to medium scope
-Collaborate with team and provide value to overall team performance and outcomes
-Ability to easily transition between different programming languages and technologies from project to project.
-Promote engineering culture and values across the organization and Oracle Health.
-Participate in architecture discussions, design sessions and code reviews on functional correctness, architectural maintainability and performance

US: Hiring Range: from $52,700 to $141,300 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
