We have an opportunity for a Manager, Administration Services to join our Waikato regional team at Oranga Tamariki. The Manager, Administration Services is a key member of the wider Waikato regional leadership group. You will play a key role in supporting regional operations and frontline services to contribute to regional service delivery outcomes and initiatives.
The Manager, Administration Services, is responsible for the management of all administrative functions which contribute to the day-to-day operations of the region. Providing operational support to all service lines and auxiliary functions within and across the regions that they support, this role has an overarching responsibility to provide both strategic and operational advice and guidance to its stakeholders.
This position requires flexibility and adaptability in response to organisational changes and projects, encompassing payroll, human resources, health and safety, legal, vehicle fleet, finance, IT, and other specialist groups. Managing national system changes and implementation within the broader administrative functions while ensuring all changes are future focused.
To drive the student placement programme creating a clear talent pipeline of future social workers into front facing roles.
To manage the casual workers bureau and its staff to support the transporting, supervised access, mentoring, minding and ongoing support to tamariki, rangatahi and sites.
As this role covers a geographic region midlands role – covering Waikato, Bay of Plenty – Some travel will be required.
