Ottawa Fastener Supply Ltd. Looking for Warehouse Order Picker/Packer at Nepean, ON Full Time

Responsible for gathering products and items for an organization’s internal or external customers. An Order Picker’s duties and responsibilities may include:

• Tuesday to Saturday, 8 to 4:30
• Accurately gathering products and items to fulfill an order for an internal or external customer
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately within the required timeframe
• Cleaning and tidying as required to maintain a safe work environment
• Assist with inventory cycle counts to ensure proper inventory numbers
• Loading and unloading of inventory, stock, and supplies as required
• Putting away incoming inventory into specified areas
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to prioritize tasks to maintain production quota
• Lifting or moving up to 50 lbs
• Wear proper safety equipment.

Educational /Technical Experience:

• Working experience in Shipping and Receiving role preferred.
• Able to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
• Basic mathematical skills.

Skill and Knowledge Requirements:

• Knowledgeable of safe lifting methods.
• Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
• Attention to detail in all areas of work.
• Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $17.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
