We have an exciting opportunity at Outwood Academy Valley for the role of Lead Learning Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight of all 5 learning managers who each have responsibility for a year group. You will be required to academically and pastorally support students through the use of data, strategic intervention and monitoring in order to maximise student progress. You will be fully responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of any students who are currently attending alternative provision/education.
As Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead you will oversee the operational aspects of our safeguarding work to ensure that all students, particularly the most vulnerable, are able to be successful in both the academy and the wider world. You will work closely with the Inclusion Co-ordinator, The Bridge and the Vice Principal (Deep Support) to provide a package of interventions for students who experience difficulties in attending the academies. Your role will also require you to oversee all meetings for looked after and previously looked after children, including Children in Need and Team Around the Child.
