Why would I want to work in a call centre?

The basic idea of this role is to sell our work to the public – we speak to members of the public from the comfort of our warm and friendly contact centre hub. Our goal is to have a chat over the phone and ask them to donate to a life-saving charity. It’s awesome because we are essentially storytellers: we get to tell amazing stories about how we have helped people living in poverty, and how they can make a difference. It’s really inspiring stuff.

You might have not done this work before and are wondering if you suit it, well if you can read off a script, have a conversation and know how to use a phone… you can do it! The best part is that the interview is a group interview with other candidates, and we actually show you the contact centre and let you chat to current staff to find out what it’s like!

Being a charity fundraiser on the phones means we have spent the day raising funds for a worthy cause, not a corporate company, and i’s a great feeling. We are feeling really lucky right now because we are also doing some amazing fundraising for other charitable organizations with whom we partner to support their cause.

What else are we offering?

• 40 hour a week contract (with go-home early incentives!)
