Job Summary This position is responsible for working with customers to
identify and secure incentive funding to purchase chargers for
commercial vehicles, with a focus on PACCAR Products. This role will act
as the main point of contact between PACCAR Parts and government
agencies for incentive funding. Additionally, the qualified candidate
will coordinate with Kenworth and Peterbilt regarding customer and
dealer investment in zero emissions vehicles, infrastructure and return
on investment models that support available subsidies. Here’s what you
will do in this role (Technical Project Manager): * Communicate,
collaborate, and structure proposals based on customer needs * Work
alongside the PPD Charger Sales Manager to support charger sales leads
and quotes * Provide Project Management support for charger deliveries
and installations * Meet proposal deadline by establishing priorities
and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, approval,
and transmittal * Review technical drawings and site designs * Work
with utility companies to overcome project barriers. * Acts as key
contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues.
Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external
stakeholders and effectively communicates with them * Communicate
delays or improvements to scheduled plans promptly to the customer or
other stake holders * Drive requests and unresolved issues to the
designated source for expedient resolution * Create and execute project
Schedules and work plans, revising as needed, to meet changing client
needs and requirements * Work with sales/proposals organization to
identify risks and mitigation plans * Single point of contact for all
technical, commercial and quality aspects on assigned project As
additional tasks for this role: * Research prospective grant and
funding opportunities * Act as subject matter expert for PACCAR
regarding charger infrastructure funding * Support PACCAR Dealers in
gathering and formatting information, and obtaining approvals * Work
closely with government agencies to understand new funding opportunities
* Maintain and control incentive funding database related to charging
and infrastructure * Align with Kenworth and Peterbilt Sales teams to
provide full coverage for zero emissions vehicles and infrastructure *
Obtain approvals by reviewing proposal with key providers and project
managers. * Communicate opportunities and support PPD EV Charger Sales
Managers to EV charger sales Required Experience and Education: *
Bachelor’s Degree Required, Master’s preferred. * Grant writing
certification preferred * 5 years of experience in grant proposal
writing, preferably within manufacturing or automotive industries *
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbally and written *
Experience with technical documentation * Proficient with Microsoft
