Role: Sales Director (J8567)

Salary: c$150-175k basic + OTE

The Role: Sales Director

In this role you will be responsible for managing a team of high energy, mid-market, fast paced sales people 6-7 sales reps across North America.

You will:

• Hire, ramp, develop and promote a team of driven sales professionals
• Identify opportunities to improve team KPI’s and continuously increase sales team efficiency.
• Consistently deliver against team goals.
• Learn, teach, and assist your team throughout their sales cycles by helping to understand prospect’s /customer’s needs
• Support your team in mapping all opportunities within a prospect
• Forecast, report and own accountability for the results of your team.
• Collaborate with team members to share and learn best practices

Our client is a global SAAS software business with recent investment to send it on its hyper-growth scale up journey. As part of that growth we are looking for a Sales Director in North America to help them on that new business journey.

You will be responsible for coaching, training and mentoring a team whilst managing their pipeline and ensuring consistent success and growth.

Core skills and background include:

• A successful background in sales leadership
• A leader, a coach, a trainer and a mentor
• Experience within mid-market SaaS technologies
• A background in financial planning technologies, financial or accounting technologies would be advantageous
• Ability to create strong relationships with external stakeholders (both clients and partners)
• A desire and ability to learn is apparent and always hungry for more.
• You don’t believe in settling, and you find ways to overachieve and keep improving.
• The ability to work to, set and achieve targets
• Ability to analyze data, report and make strategic recommendations based on data analysis.
• Ability to coach and develop team to achieve excellent performance and over achieve on targets
• An excellent understanding of tech stacks – salesforce, outreach, gong etc
