Our client is a global equipment/machinery distributor and has operations around the world.

Position: Sales Representative
Location: Cambridge, Ontario
Compensation: CAN$50,000-60,000 per year depending on experience
Job Objective:
The Sales Rep is responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities. Establishes plans and strategies to expand sales with existing and new customers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Meet weekly/daily with Customers to understand requirements
- Prepare and present project analysis to Customers and Management
- Support and manage project implementation
- Provide Sales with technical support
- Plan and manage sales budget with a monthly and yearly review
- Ensure Health and Safety compliances are met
- Obtain purchase orders (P.O’s) from Customers
- Support Accounts Receivable (A/R) Specialist to monitor A/R, report and address problem items as required
- Call or visit Customers to request payment information and discuss short or overpayments; research discrepancies
- Issue requests to Accounting for A/R and inventory adjustments based on investigation/countermeasures
- Check all Customer P.O.’s with the company’s sales orders, for accuracy and validity
Requirements
· Fluency in Japanese language is considered as a strong asset
· Business-related University degree; Engineering or Accounting an asset
· Able to handle high stress situations due to tight deadlines and high workload
· Excellent attention to detail and good organizational skills
· Must have superior customer service skills
· Must be able to travel domestically and internationally when required
