Data Entry/Administrative Assistant – Materials Testing and Inspection Department
Location: North Bay, ON
Education (Minimum): College Diploma
Experience: 2 years preferred

Responsibilities:
Our North Bay Laboratory is seeking a proactive and self-motivated team player to provide administrative support to the Materials Testing and Inspection Department as a Data Entry and Administrative Assistant. Duties will include, but not be limited to:
· Various data entry using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.)
· Read, sort and print emails in a timely manner
· Prioritize and effectively organize workload by date, task and due date
· Ensure client follow up is done when necessary
· Word processing and formatting documents
· Filing and archiving documents
· Assist the accounting department with invoicing details and receivables for the Materials Department
· Assist other Administrative Assistants as required
Job Requirements:
The successful candidate will be relied upon to deliver administrative support to various professional and administrative staff. A motivation to provide high quality customer service is essential to the role. In addition, the candidate should have the following qualifications and skills:
· 1 to 2 years of experience providing administrative support in a professional office environment
· Experience in an Engineering/Construction related work environment is also an asset
· Graduate of business administration college preferred
· Spoken and written English, French understanding would be an asset.
· Team player with flexible, can-do attitude
· Willingness to learn and implement systems
· Desire to develop a career in administrative support
· Attention to detail and ownership of delegated tasks
· Excellent organizational skills (record keeping, time management, follow up);
· Good communication skills (listening, speaking and writing), friendly and pleasant manner
· The ability to take directions and seek clarification as needed
· Good problem-solving skills with the initiative and ability to identify alternative solutions
