THE ORGANIZATION
Supreme Windows Calgary Inc. (Supreme) has been in operation since 1967. The company has furnished countless homes in the city and province with a variety of windows and doors, all fit for four unrelenting seasons and manufactured in their 100,000-square-foot building located in Southeast Calgary. The plant is automated, with specialized computer-controlled machines from Italy, Canada and Germany for everything from cutting glass to cleaning welded corners.
The company’s market is primarily residential homes and multi-family (town homes, condominium, and smaller apartment buildings) developments. While it manufactures more windows than doors, its door business has grown with the advent of newer homes boasting more than two doors to the outside.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The role requires an enthusiastic and professional sales leader with a business development mentality, a passion for sales, and a love for a challenge. Developing an energetic and focused team, strategic relationships, grow existing clients, and leading the development of the market through three distinct sales channels; renovations, new homes and the dealer network. You’ve been a people manager and know how to elevate your team’s performance. You thrive outside the office in a “field work” environment coaching and leading team members.
You will analyze trends, previous results, and gain feedback to accurately forecast annual sales & gross profit, and to establish and control budgets for promotions and tradeshows. You will establish regular contact and rapport with key clients and partners, negotiate contracts/price agreements, assist in positioning and implementing contracts and develop and present financial and operational KPIs to the executive leadership team. With an aggressive growth plan, this Sales Manager role is critical for the company’s success.
