PC Logistics LLC Hiring for Dispatch – 2nd Shift at Oak Creek, WI Full Time

Dispatching both local and long-haul company operations in a very busy environment.

This position is responsible for coordinating and assigning equipment and loads to drivers to assure timely delivery and pickup of our customers’ freight in compliance with company SOP’s and DOT regulations. Will interact with drivers, customers, brokers, other operations personnel, and corporate departments. Scheduling will be done through our company TMS software system. Successful dispatch by describing/satisfying the customer requirements in detail, while taking in to account the driver safety status and his/her personal life components. Will also be working with payroll, billing, customer service and other areas as is required.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (about 40 hours per week)

Pay Rate: Based on Experience

Job Requirements:

To perform at a proficient level and to be fully qualified, a person would be expected to have:

• 3 years of recent experience / responsibility in Truckload and Expedited dispatching, load planning and tracking to completion. Must be able to use web based load boards to secure back-hauls. Experienced in negotiating rates with brokers.
• Excellent, working knowledge of all related DOT, state & federal regulations / laws
• Working knowledge of load boards: DAT, Internet Truck Stop, etc.
• Basic computer, phone, fax, email and mapping skills. Sylectus experience helpful.
• Good people skills, able to control stress level. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Mental concentration required, heavy multi-tasking abilities
• Excellent customer service skills and driver relation skills
• High school diploma with a college degree preferred

Class A CDL driving experience a Plus
