The Organization

Peel Explore & Learn’s programs are housed in 2 public schools in north-east Brampton. We are a young organization of 7 years looking to make an impact in our community, and we are seeking a RECE Supervisor with the ability to lead our programs. Our programs provide a high level of care for children between 15 MOs – 12 Yrs and their families. We have a team of program staff who are open to learning and best practices.

The Position

Are you a supervisor that has 3+ years teaching experience, 2+ years supervisory experience and are in good standing with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators? Are you able to lead an organization that is focused on children’s development, has teachers who are passionate about working with children, and is housed in beautiful facilities?

Our Programs

• Before/After School programs at 2 schools; toddler & preschool programs at 1 school
• A team of 8 program staff
• Successful relationships with provincial and municipal licensing partners, resource consultant, quality specialist and others.

Interpersonal Skills

• Are you a collaborative leader who can work closely with colleagues to meet Centre goals?
• Are you a great communicator who can adapt to different communication styles from Parents? Staff? Director?
• Are you a leader who takes initiative, and has a vision that can inspire continual best practice?

This is a full time opportunity. The RECE Program Supervisor should be available during the Centre’s hours of operation (7 am – 6 pm), with the occasional need to work a longer shift or after hours.
