Performance Foodservice Hiring for Driver Helper at Dallas, TX Full Time

Performance Foodservice, PFG’s broadline distributor, maintains a unique relationship with a variety of local customers, including independent restaurants and hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries. A team of sales reps, chefs, consultants and other experts builds close relationships with each customer, providing advice on improving operations, menu development, product selection and operational strategies. Job Description

The Driver Helper position will perform the following duties:

• Assists the driver in the safe and accurate delivery of the product to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
• Responds timely to management and others in regards to delivery information.
• Completes required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Requires accurate identification of product to ensure the correct product, in satisfactory condition, is located on the trailer/truck and unloaded at customer locations.
• Must be able to lift several pound of food product
• Must be able to get on and off of a commercial vehicle (Tractor / Trailer)

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Must be able to lift, pull, push heavy weight

• Must be able to walk up and down truck ramp

• Must be able to work in different temperatures

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience
