What You Will Achieve

You will help Pfizer carry out the activities in distribution logistics centers to meet customer requirements, such as shipping and receiving requests, packing, storage, distribution of products, samples,and promotional literature to domestic and/or international locations and associated customer service. You will act as a logistics facilitator to ensure all elements of the distribution process are coordinated in a way that customer requirements and time constraints are met.

As part of technical operations, you will be a team member who isreliedto have a good understanding of procedures, techniques, tools, materials,and equipment. Your decision making will help you prioritize workflows based on the available resources. You will follow standard procedures to complete tasks, some of which may vary in scope, sequence, complexity,and timing. You will contribute to the team’s success by sharing your previously acquired knowledge.

How You Will Achieve It

• Manageowntime, professional development, prioritize workflows, andbeaccountable forownresults.

• Ensure accurate placement of material into storage or staging locations.

• Prepare orders forshipment,may include the packing of material into boxes, containers and pallets which will ensure the appropriate protection of products.

• Document and maintain batch documentation associated with the manufacture of process steps.

• Research inventory discrepancies, overages, and shortages,evaluate and adjust inventory as appropriate.

• Maintain inventory locations for overstock, set bin replenishment parameters, labelling and bin assignments, etc.

• Ensure adherence to all plant safety and (Current) Good Manufacturing Practices(cGMP)regulations to the highest standards with adherence to rightfirst timeprinciples.

• Create, print, reconcile and close daily cycle countsfor distribution center.

• Managethe operation of automated warehouse and semi-automated equipment.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• High School Diploma or GED and 2+ years’ experience.

• Good communication skills – written and verbal.

• Excellent knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems.

• Collaboration and problem-solving skills team member.

Nice-to-Have

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• Experience in general warehousing or manufacturing.

• Experience in operating heavy machinery.

• MHE experience more than 10 years

• SAP experience more than 5 years

• Rx experience more than 5 years

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Normal Indoor Warehouse requires 7 – 10 hours spent standing and walking on concrete on the Warehouse floor or sitting are required. Requires bending and twisting using proper ergomonic techniques. Some lifting of packages of up to 40 lbs may be required.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Sometimes additional hours are required as the business levels dictate. These may include evenings and weekends on occasion.
