Platinum Recruitment are excited to be partnering again with Ravensdown in their search for a Maintenance Fitter for their Dunedin site. It has been a while since they have been looking for a new member here, but due to a well deserved retirement, we are after some new talent to join them.

THE ROLE is Monday to Friday day shift hours. The site is one of the most central sites in Dunedin so no need for a big commute. Your focus will be on minimising downtime of the plant, so our processing team can get on with what they do best. There will be projects at times & on-going opportunities for you to upskill, train & grow in your career here.

REWARDS

• Base hourly rate $39-43 p/hour (depending on experience)
• Plus allowances, which can bump it up to $46-48 p/ hour.

Dunedin is one of the best cities in NZ (I am allowed to be biased – I chose to come here from the other side of the world). We are fortunate to be surrounded by empty beaches & mountains all whilst being in a modern, well appointed city with affordable living & fantastic educational facilities.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years maintenance fitter experience
• NZ Level 4 Trade Cert Fitter/ Welder or NZQA equivalent
• Demonstrated abilities for fault finding & diagnostics
• Excellent communication skills for loud, busy site
• Availability for on-call roster
