At Plumpton College we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, inspiring and innovative Programme Manager in Teacher Education. You will contribute to the raising of teaching and learning standards across the College by leading the teaching of teacher education programmes at a variety of different levels.
The ideal candidate will have a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification as well as a proven track record of success and innovation in teacher education. You will have experience in supporting staff undertaking teaching and training qualifications to maximise their potential as outstanding and innovative practitioners. You will illustrate a commitment to regular CPD, keeping abreast with the most current pedagogical research, in classroom and blended and online learning environments.
You will be a clear communicator, professional, hardworking and a confident team player with a strong desire to raise educational standards. You will also be flexible with your working hours, as some evening work will be required.
