Your scope is broad, and your responsibilities will see you sitting across the general day-to-day operational management of the centre as the ‘face of the centre’ and the first point of contact for all visitors and queries received. This role has a strong facilities management and oversight focus, including the research, development, sourcing and implementation of systems, processes and tools that support the overall member and visitor experience. You will be responsible for ensuring the facilities are well presented, properly maintained, physically secure, safe, and compliant with all appropriate regulations. It is a busy role, and nothing will be a problem for you to lend your hand to, from coordinating centre events through to keeping the kitchen supplies well stocked!
Naturally you bring exceptional planning, scheduling and negotiation skills, property related nous and pragmatic decision making to the team. It is vital that you bring an understanding of property/tenancy or contractor management processes, as well as health and safety best practice. Ideally you will bring experience with developing and implementing project plans that include relevant procurement and business case processes. You are systems savvy, can deal with ambiguity and work with pace. You will interact with people from all walks of life and enjoy a hands-on community-based role seeing others thrive from the work you do.
