Postpartum Support International (PSI) Hiring for PSI Chapters Program Assistant Job at Remote Full Time

The PSI Chapters Program Assistant is a part-time salaried position, estimated at 20 hours/week, and is responsible for supporting the implementation of the organization’s chapters program (state and international). PSI is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization, with 44 state chapters.

Postpartum Support International (PSI) works to promote awareness, prevention and treatment of mental health issues related to childbearing. PSI supports families, provides expert trainings to providers, and creates a bridge between families and informed resources. PSI disseminates information and resources through its volunteers, website, trainings, chapters, and annual conference. PSI board and staff are a team of dedicated and passionate individuals who are committed to alleviating distress and improving outcomes for pregnant and postpartum families. PSI headquarters is in Portland Oregon, but the position is entirely remote.

DESCRIPTION:

The Chapters Program Assistant reports to the Chapters and Affiliates Director and works collaboratively with other PSI staff. The person in this position will provide administrative support and project management support for the chapters program.

PSI staff and volunteers collaborate virtually in the United States and internationally, and the successful candidate will be able to work independently and participate in timely communication with other team members. This is an independent part-time, remote position, starting at 20 hours a week.

• Strong organizational and recording keeping skills

• Experience with google drive, Microsoft Office, Zoom

Essential functions of the Chapters Program Assistant:

Administrative

• Attend meetings with chapters, PSI staff and Executive Director

• Maintain record keeping system for Chapters in Google Drive

• Help create and maintain administrative and policy documents

• Support with coordinating the Annual Chapter Board Convening

• Ensure annual reports are filed on time and in compliance with Secretaries of State

• Ensure all quarterly reports are completed by each chapter

• Schedule and manage requests for chapter zoom meetings

Communication

• Serve as second point of contact for chapter Leaders

• Coordinate updates to chapter webpages

• Moderate closed Facebook group for active chapter leaders
