Calling all typing aficionados! We are searching for an Accounts Payable Data Entry Clerk who will work from our corporate headquarters in St. Petersburg, FL, and will be primarily responsible for entering material invoices quickly and accurately using 10-key data entry.
In this crucial accounting role, you will help streamline the invoice entry process, allowing the department to provide timely end-to-end accounts payable functions in an innovative, paperless environment.
position details/responsibilities…
- Manage invoice entry queues in DocuClass, Power Design’s document management system.
- Match material invoices to purchase orders with speed and accuracy using Oracle.
- Identify invoice entry discrepancies, propose process improvement ideas and help implement those process changes.
- Participate in other projects in the accounting department and within accounts payable, including internal audits.
here’s what we’re looking for…
- At least 8,000 keystrokes per hour (KPH) with solid accuracy and strong math computation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Someone dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
- A customer-focused self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can work independently and maintain a high level of professionalism.
