Prairie Mountain Health Looking for Clerk III – Facility Screener at McCreary, MB Full Time

• Grade 12 education (MB Standards)
• Completion of a recognized Office Administration Diploma or Business Administration Certificate
• One (1) year equivalent full-time experience
• Other combinations of suitable education and experience may be considered
• Demonstrated compentency in using current office technology and equipment
• Province of Manitoba Class 5 Drivers Licence, or equivalent from province of residence, and access to a personal vehicle to provide service within Prairie Mountain Health
• Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint), as well as Internet applications and other Information Technology
• Demonstrated organizational skills, and the ability to work independently
• Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills
• Demonstrated flexibility to facilitate changes in techniques and procedures in a changing environment
• Demonstrated knowledge and competence of skills and concepts related to the position

• Direct care workers are required to either be vaccinated for Covid-19 or to participate in on-going regular Covid-19 testing pursuant to Orders made under The Public Health Act C.C.S.M. c.P210. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Clerk III – Facility Screener will provide clerical and administrative support functions for all staff and clients who receive services from the program that they support. The Clerk III – Facility Screener functions as an integral part of the Health Care Team and performs all duties in accordance with the Mission, Vision, Values, Policies and Procedures of Prairie Mountain Health.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Overview:
Greeting clients to the facility.

Conducting screening interviews and relevant record keeping.

Assist in the coordination of visitation in designated areas by scheduling visits and cleaning space between visits.

Other duties as assigned.

This position is subject to a Criminal Records Check (including vulnerable sector), Adult Abuse Registry Check, and a Child Abuse Registry Check. The successful candidate will be responsible for any services charges incurred.
