Job Description
Summary
This position assists in the management of the Company’s sales activities – maintaining strong, long-lasting relationship and contact with customers in the assigned sales territory.
Primary Responsibilities
Work safely. Adhere to all company and regulatory EH&S and 6-S policies and procedures.
Perpetuate sales bookings through direct contact and technical liaison with customers.
Manage day-to-day customer communication and ongoing relationships as it relates to current, new and upcoming orders.
Develop new accounts and markets.
Report on industry and market trends to Sales and senior leadership.
Maintain/control inventory levels for finished goods as directed by management.
Track/expedite production orders.
Assist accounting with collections.
Perform order entry/understand guidelines of contract review.
Interface between customers and Manufacturing/Technology concerning specification/technical capability.
Monitor sales metrics and provide regular sales forecast for assigned account base.
Develop interaction of the technical and metallurgical services group with our customers.
As necessary, visit clients, attend trade shows and other industry events to capitalize on networking and relationship-building opportunities.
Ability to travel 15% of the time.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and experience
4-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of technical related sales experience, preferrable in alloy or aerospace industry.
Familiar with technical aspects of CM alloys and concepts of manufacturing processes preferred.
Skills/Competencies

Knowledge of CRM, ERP and MS Office software.
