Maintains established departmental policies, procedures, objectives and quality assurance, creating documentation as required. Follows JCAHO guidelines.
Performs various types of exams to produce radiographs, evaluating for technical quality, and preparing for interpretation.
Checks equipment, supplies, and accessories on a regular basis and reports shortages and failures to assure customer satisfaction and safety.
Maintains orderliness, cleanliness and professionalism in all work areas., Prepares, maintains room and transports patients if needed to radiographic room for exams.
Participates in the Preceptor Program as designed for new hires and students.
Knows and applies team and organizational results-based competencies.
Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs current literature, in-service, meetings, and workshops.
Executes supervision as required by supervisor.
