Procore is looking to hire a Talent Generalist to join its Global Talent Organisation to help support our EMEA region. In this role, you’ll work across functions within the Global Talent Organisation and Procore to build trusted relationships and provide human resources support while leading with warmth, empathy, compassion, and creativity.
As a Talent Generalist, you’ll partner with Procore employees, managers, Talent Business Partners, Talent Operations, and others to ensure fair, respectful, and consistent employee treatment that aligns with Procore’s values. This is a full-time position that reports into the Talent Business Partner leader within the Global Talent Organisation and will be based in our London or Dublin office. We are looking for someone to join us immediately.
What you’ll do:
Effectively manage employee relation cases and provide commercial advice and guidance to the HR and leadership team in order to ensure professional, business-focused, and timely Employee Relations resolution across EMEA
Support GTO and Leadership in employee relations: disciplinary, grievance, contractual matters, organisational enhancement projects and reorganisations, conflict resolution, capability, settlement agreements, policy interpretation, overall talent engagement initiatives, such as performance calibration and growth conversations, and other ER matters
Be responsible for developing the HR policies and procedures on an ongoing basis across EMEA ensuring compliance with current employment law and alignment with market best practice
Ensure effective and proactive communication with the Leadership team to update on forthcoming legislation and new policies. Produce and deliver training programmes in partnership with the TBP and the TAG team accordingly
Provide Generalist support to the EMEA region advising employees and managers on day-to-day queries and people management
Provide performance management guidance to management (particularly supporting the Talent Business Partners to manage all aspects of employee relations, including disciplinary actions) as needed
Perform routine tasks to administer and execute Talent programs, including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, leaves, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigation, performance and talent management, recognition and employee experience, occupational health and safety, and training and development
Conduct climate surveys and assist with investigations when employee complaints or concerns are raised
Coach Managers on policy interpretation and employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship
Compile, prepare, and analyse data and reports to assist in determining trends and themes, make recommendations and develop action plans/programs that provide for continuous improvement within the department and organisation
Drive background check investigations, relocation, and exit interview process
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of generalist human resources experience in EMEA or equivalent combination of education and experience
CIPD certification preferred (or equivalent)
Strong interest and background in ER, policies, and practices
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and projects
Command of Workday and Google Suite applications, including Google docs, sheets, and slides
Possess the ability to use and understand business intelligence and data analysis software and programs, such as HRIS, for the purpose of evaluating, interpreting, and organising data related to employee relations and human resources overall
Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence; ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organisational levels
Strong organisational, problem-solving, and analytical skills paired with great attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills; maintains confidentiality; diplomatic, professional
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
