Located by Pearson Airport in Mississauga, this privately owned company is seeking a mature, well-rounded individual who will be required to provide administrative within a small office environment in the areas of Accounting, Operations, HR and other office duties.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Hourly Rate: With an hourly start rate of $20.00 – $22.00

Job Description

• Provide information in response to requests from clients and provides information concerning the company, emphasizing customer service
• Act as a liaison between clients and team members, along with maintaining telephone, reception desk, and e-mail communication
• Provide clerical support including calendar management, data entry, etc.
• Review all incoming correspondence by phone, email & mail/courier, obtains background information, and forwards on to the appropriate staff
• Maintain and update multiple company databases (paper and electronic filing systems) and provide related information and reports to necessary managers
• Enter Payables, investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly and accurately
• Reconcile expense reports, credit cards, gas cards and vendor invoices.
• Collaborate with the Controller to maintain collection goals and other general A/R responbilities (i.e. investigate collection problems and advise clients on A/R policies and procedures)
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills/ Education Required

• Post-secondary diploma in Administration or a related field
• Minimum 1-2 years of Office experience or related experience (Construction or manufacturing experience is preferred)
• Demonstrated customer-service and interpersonal skills at a level to develop and to maintain cooperative/collaborative working relationships both within and outside the organization
• Excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines, and the ability to deal with multiple demands
• Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to demonstrate initiative consistently with commitment to quality improvement
• Demonstrated proficiency in MAC applications, Microsoft Office, the internet, and any other related software
• Demonstrated knowledge of general accounting principles and practices and the basic application of use of concepts, theories, and terminology of accounting.
• Demonstrated proficient in Quick Books software– Knowledge in this application would be an asset
