Job Title: COBRA SPECIALIST

Job Summary: The COBRA Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the COBRA Department. This includes client setup, daily administration of the plan, client disbursements and client reports. The COBRA Specialist is also responsible for ensuring the highest quality of service, which meets or exceeds the expectations of our clients.

Primary Duties:

• Answer telephone calls from COBRA participants and client HR departments in a timely and professional manner.
• Process enrollment updates.
• Post COBRA payments.
• Send COBRA notification letters. Process daily COBRA files. Upload member to COBRA system
• File all communications in an organized manner and retrieve documents as needed for COBRA inquiries.
• The COBRA Specialist works to administer, coordinate and assure compliance for client’s COBRA administration. This position will process daily enrollments and terminations and be responsible for sending initial notices to eligible employees for COBRA.
• Knowledge working in the WEX Health Cloud Administrative Portal / preferred but not a requirement

Knowledge of COBRA rules and regulations.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service and computer skills required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 – $40,000.00 per year
