Pueblo County, CO Hiring for Caseworker – Child Welfare Intake/Screener at Pueblo, CO Full Time

Basic Proficiency:

• Principles, practices, and objectives as related to case management, risk assessment, crisis intervention and counseling, in a program area.
• Assesses risk; develops treatment plans and counsel family and clients on methods of problem resolution.
• Maintains sensitive and confidential information.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a Human Services Behavioral Sciences field (must have a degree with major course work equivalent to thirty semester hours or forty-five quarter hours in either development of human behavior, child development, family intervention techniques, diagnostic measures or therapeutic techniques such as social work, psychology, sociology, guidance and counseling and child development).
OR

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Social Work with a major in Public Child Welfare.
OR

Master’s degree from and accredited college or university in Social Work or Human Behavioral Sciences field required.

Experience:

One of the above PLUS:
Minimum of one year of full-time professional social casework experience acquired after the degree in a public or private social services agency in an assignment appropriate to the position required.

Licenses and/or Certificates:

Valid driver’s license at the time of application and a valid Colorado driver’s license at time of hire required.
