Pushpay Looking for Engineering Manager at Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand Full Time

We’re looking for a passionate and collaborative person to join Pushpay as an Engineering Manager to lead 2-3 teams of engineers each across our platform into our next phase of growth. Each team generally consists of a Tech Lead, a QA, and 3-6 software developers ranging in experience from Software Engineer 1 through Principal Engineer.

About The Role

A Pushpay Engineering Manager has a strong passion for people and the primary focus of this role is to empower their teams to ensure their ongoing success. They are someone who loves to collaborate, build relationships with others, develop and coach their teams and create supportive and inclusive team environments. They will be working to connect their teams of engineers to the “why” behind what they are doing.

This role will be looking after our SRE and Data Engineering teams.

The engineering management team has a strong connection and together partner to ensure we consistently develop a positive and blameless culture. Our core values of people-focused, teachable, driven, simplicity and generosity are at the forefront of everything we do.

The role requires solid experience with managing project commitments, timelines, team capabilities and resource management. You will be working closely with Product and Design to ensure smooth product deliveries and we pride ourselves in our engineering and product relationship.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in internet-scale, multi-user web/mobile/cloud type software products
• Preferred experience with SRE, DevOps and/or Cloud operations or data engineering
• Prior experience leading teams in either a technical or people management position
