Puyallup Heating and Cooling has an immediate need for a full-time receptionist. This is a 100% in-office role during our core business hours of 7:30a – 4:00p, Monday – Friday, no weekends or extended hours.
Duties include:
Warmly and professionally answer the phones
Listen and assist customers with their needs
Schedule appointments for salespeople and technicians
Inform customers of payment options as needed
Maintain customer accounts and records
Greet vendors and customers as needed
Manage and organize incoming sales leads
Perform basic accounting tasks such as taking customer payment and preparing billing statements
Prepare and send invoices
Assist in ordering equipment
Submit warranty paperwork
Keep track of office supplies and place orders for more supplies
Sort and organize incoming and outgoing mail
Ensure reception area is maintained and professional in appearance
Preferred skillset:
Minimum two years of experience as a receptionist preferably with a service or trade industry
Prior HVAC experience and/or knowledge is a plus
Professional phone presence
Experience with multiple incoming phone lines
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Prior light accounting or bookkeeping experience
Computer savvy, an intermediate user of MS Office suite
Prior experience with dispatching software, especially ServiceTitan is a plus
Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour depending on experience
