A career in Risk Management, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to advance and foster integrity based decision making and conduct by PwC professionals throughout our organisation. You’ll focus on promoting and monitoring compliance with applicable external laws and regulations as well as internal policies and procedures to help manage PwC’s regulatory, litigation, and reputational risk.
Our Compliance team is responsible for oversight of all Compliance activities by our PwC professionals. As part of the team, you’ll help promote and monitor compliance with applicable external and internal policies, laws and regulations and subsequently, manage PwC’s regulatory, litigation and reputational risk.

Demonstrates intimate knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the Ethics & Compliance and Risk Management business functions and related technology systems emphasizing the following areas:
Understanding of a multinational, professional services organization’s risk and compliance profile and leveraging compliance monitoring activities to confirm compliance programs are operating effectively at mitigating risk and identifying areas for enhancements;
Interacting with and assisting compliance leaders across a range of ethics and compliance areas (e.g., anti-corruption, privacy and information protection, personal independence) to understand their reporting requirements and design ways of extracting and analyzing data to derive the business insights they require such as matter trends, root cause analyses, program evaluation metrics and other types of bespoke reporting requests;
Consulting with compliance program leaders to understand their program goals and to help them define or refine their program evaluation metrics and determine the most effective evaluation methods;
Using data tools (e.g., SQL, Alteryx, Power Query) and establishing repeatable and/or automated processes to work with disparate datasets to extract business insights for compliance program teams through data visualization and storytelling (e.g., Power BI) with customizations for various stakeholders;
Identifying opportunities for new and innovative ways of leveraging technology and internal and external data to solve compliance monitoring problems;
Possessing verbal and written communication skills, as well as prior presentation and facilitation experience;
Collaborating extensively with stakeholders, team members, US Technology, Learning & Development, suppliers and vendors to identify, extract and analyze data for compliance program trend analysis and reporting;
Developing project strategies to solve complex technical challenges for compliance program stakeholders;
Being energetic and confident self-starter;
Providing prompt and objective responses to questions, issues or concerns;
Understanding status reporting and keeping leadership informed of progress, risks and issues; and,
Bringing innovative and creative ways to communicate data (e.g., storytelling, dashboards) customized for various audiences.
Demonstrates proven intimate abilities and success in roles involved the following areas:
Driving data integrity and quality to enable timely and relevant risk and compliance management;
Documenting various data analytics processes;
Performing root cause analysis to identify data or system issues;
Using industry-leading tools in data visualization, automation and analysis to provide business insights.
Managing projects, including evaluating technology products that support Ethics & Compliance functions within the accounting, auditing and/or professional services industries;
Establishing direction and motivation, as well as creating an atmosphere of trust and leveraging diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation; and,
Supervising junior team employees, and taking ownership of projects.
