A career in Learning and Development, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to the success of clients employees by developing quality and relevant learning initiatives. You’ll help us identify and source the best instructors, develop learning and performance improvement solutions across traditional and virtual classroom environments, and consult with other areas of PwC to ensure our curriculums and initiatives support the PwC strategy.
Our Learning and Development Strategy team maintains relationships with clients, stakeholders, and key partners for learning and development resources that will help serve assigned client groups. As part of the team, you’ll be responsible for building and managing relationships with appropriate leadership team members, learning committees, and other client service representatives to understand the assigned groups strategy and priorities related to their learning and development goals.

Using a variety of learning solutions/methods, including knowledge and experience with performance consulting, adult learning theory, measurement/learning outcomes, major learning technologies and problem-based learning approaches;
Understanding of instructional design as well as regularly capture and assess learning needs and gaps;
Understanding of both project management and change management concepts and techniques along with budgeting and cost analysis concepts;
Continuously deepening and broadening understanding of how the client’s business works, how they make money, how it is evolving and why this matters in order to articulate a relevant point of view;
Supporting and engaging team to disrupt, improve and evolve ways of working when necessary;
Possessing the ability to advise, collaborate with, and influence Sr level stakeholders in developing learning strategies for large, complex and/or ambiguous business areas/portfolios – operating with a “seat at the table” with senior leaders;
Analyzing and synthesizing significant amounts of information from multiple sources (including BU, LoS priorities) and effectively translate this information into learning strategies in support of business priorities, including identifying business-level performance gaps and associated development needs;
Navigating obstacles so appropriate implementation actions can be taken;
Bringing together the right resources and facilitating the team to craft innovative learning design and performance improvement;
Delegating and driving accountability across a multi-functional team and across multiple projects and consulting with business sponsors and project teams to execute learning solutions that will meet business needs;
Driving fiscal accountability across a business or portfolio and experience with budgets, resourcing, forecasts and other management reporting responsibilities;
Building long-term relationships to add value while working effectively with key business sponsors, KM, Comms and Change, MES and HR and across other IFS and Human Capital functional teams, focusing on improving deliverables, process and integration of teams, as appropriate, to accomplish goals;
Leading teams and individuals for growth and performance, including proactively integrating well-being and flexibility;
Intentionally building diverse teams and initiate open and candid coaching conversations at all levels; and,
Driving a one firm approach to solutioning and assessing value and effectiveness of a portfolio/curriculum and to articulate and communicate value delivered to sponsors/stakeholders with advanced negotiation skills including conflict resolution.
