In our Deals Strategy team, we are looking for graduates across Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland.

As an Intern or Graduate in our Deals Strategy team, you’ll be at the leading edge of value creation and commercial due diligence in New Zealand. It’s the ideal role for minds from diverse backgrounds that are curious about solving business problems.

Our Deals Strategy team undertakes detailed commercial due diligence on target companies, looking at the market scale and dynamics, target company performance and perceptions, the impact of competitors in its segment, the impact of disruption and new technologies, and the potential upside in the target business plan. We also work with companies ahead of the transaction to identify, quantify and validate the upside potential in transaction opportunities. If you like “getting under the hood” of a complex problem, then Deals Strategy could be the right fit for you.

As part of our growing and diverse team, you will have a distinct opportunity to work with market-leading corporates, private businesses, public-sector organisations and government agencies to help solve important problems. We collaborate extensively with our PwC and Strategy colleagues globally to share best practice and support on cross-border transactions.

As an Intern or Graduate, you will spend your time “looking outside” target organisations to understand why they are leading and what trends are most important to their future. You will be getting experience with a variety of analysis including market sizing and forecasting, competitor dynamics, customer analysis, business plan reviews, and growth analysis. We work closely with our Data and Analytics teams to bring market leading solutions to clients.
