The Delivery Driver and Warehouse Associate will pick customer orders and ensure they are properly packed then will load/unload the product efficiently and accurately.Salary: $31,000 – $37,000 per yearJob Location: Salisbury, MarylandJob Type: Full-timeDescription:Pick customer orders and transfersEnsure orders are properly packed and labeledSafely operate lift trucksLoad/unload product efficiently and accurately; assemble in identified areaVerify product and product count is accurateUtilize proper PPE (i.e., safety shoes, gloves, safety harness, ladders)You will be working outside and inside customer homes and the storeHousekeeping duties as part of daily routine or as directedRequirements:Offer outstanding customer serviceHave experience in operating 24-26 box truck and have current DOT medical cardMust have a minimum of 6-months experience delivering appliances or working a warehouse that has handled appliances or similar size and weight products such as furniture, or HVAC equipmentMinimum 1 year of Warehouse ExperienceComputer literateMust be flexible, organized and self-motivatingMust demonstrate attention to detailExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Must be able to operate lift trucksSafely lift a minimum of 50 pounds, walk 1-3 miles on a daily basis, reach/graspMust be capable of lifting and moving extremely heavy items with a hand card, or strap lift with a partnerMust be able to perform lifting duties for up to 6-8 hours per day, in a variety of weather. (Summer 90 degrees, 100% humidity. Winter 0-degree cold weather)Able to handle hard work; approximately 600-800 appliances load/unload per week
