QUANTEM Bulk Liquid Storage & Handling Looking for Operations Support Coordinator at Tauranga, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand Full Time

Quantem is Australia’s largest independent chemical storage company with terminals across Australia and New Zealand. We deliver chemical storage solutions for both hazardous and non-hazardous products to a wide array of businesses and primary industries, for both import and export.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations Support Coordinator to join our NZ Head Office team in Mount Maunganui, New Zealand. This role is part time – 32 hours per week.

Working as part of a small team and reporting to the NZ General Manager, you will be responsible for providing support to the New Zealand sites, particularly in the areas of quality, payroll, finance and general office management.

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Carrying out administrative duties.
• Accounts Receivable processing and management, and credit control.
• Accounts Payable processing and management.
• Preparing the GST returns.
• Ensuring orderly and accurate payment of wages.
• Fielding payroll related queries from staff.
• Maintaining the Quality Management System through auditing and managing controlled documents.
• Lead the process for ISO 9001:2015 accreditation.
• Managing online inductions.
• Maintaining incident, action and reminder databases including providing user assistance.
• Coordinating Head Office facilities and events.
• Participate in promoting a safer workplace through observing and recording hazards, attending HSE meetings and circulating notifications.

To be considered for the position, candidates will possess:

• 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Highly competent in MS suite – especially Excel.
• Strong communications skills (verbal and written).
• Demonstrated influencing, planning, organising, and problem-solving skills coupled with drive and a result orientation.
• Uses initiative and demonstrates service orientation.
• Good working knowledge of accounting principles.
• Experience in understanding or managing quality systems.
