Ideally a degree in a technical trade or an Associate degree with a minimum of 5 years proven in sheet metal fabrication and general production help including sub assembly. Experience in punch press, Brake Press, Laser preferred. Possess excellent communication skills and be aggressive, works well in a team environment and is a self – starter and motivator. Candidate must be highly organized, efficient and be able to work in a high paced environment. Professionalism: Always professionally support the efforts of all team members of The Company to help them succeed and meet the vision, mission and core values of The Company. Provide excellent image of The Company and its team to customers. Have a professional appearance and a friendly personality.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities: Effectively and professionally perform and assist all general aspect of sheet metal fabrication. Could include of the task below

• Set up and operate Amada Punch press

• Set up and operate Amada Laser

• Set up and operate Brake Press

• Hardware Insertion

• Spot welder

• Continually improve the performance of the department and support other departments within The Company achieving the same

Secondary Responsibilities

• Back up to any of the primary responsibility mentioned above

• Assist other departments on an as needed basis

• If skilled in a second language when requested help communicate to customers in that language

• Partake in skill improvement training as required by the Company.

• Review and improve technical machine set up documentation

• Train team members and or customers

• Back up other departments when needed.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
