Primary Duty/Job Statement

The Junior Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, recruiting and screening applicants for a variety of positions. They will also be responsible for creating external pipelines for future talent demands.

Essential Functions
Fundamental Duties

• Responsible for, but not limited to, proactively sourcing and screening applicants, and partnering with hiring managers throughout the selection process.
• Apply an understanding of the company’s organizational structure and personnel policy to employment practices, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
• Create employment advertising that will attract strong pool of candidates that is distinctive for market and chosen media
• Disposition applicants through Icims to appropriate managers
• Seek and secure onboarding and / or job fair locations
• Utilize knowledge of all business and social media sites for employment advertising
• Assist with job posting boards
• Perform reference checks
• Maintaining the inventory of onboarding & marketing supplies
• Continually build a talent pipeline to solve future business needs with a focus on specific patterns of performance to identify candidates who will deliver high quality performance results
• Build strong business partnerships
• Maintain confidentiality
• Perform other duties as required and/or assigned o Employee must be able to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation

Physical/Cognitive Requirements

• While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit, communicate, reach, climb and manipulate objects, office equipment and electronic devices.

Minimum physical exertion. Duties involving moving materials up to 10 pounds on a regular basis and up to 20 pounds on occasion. Manual dexterity and coordination are required over

75% of the work period while operating equipment such as a computer keyboard, mouse, phone and/or similar machines.

• Attendance/Schedule o Able to work a flexible schedule depending on the needs of the business; the typical workweek will be Monday through Friday, starting as early as 7a.m. The typical work hours will be 40 per week. During high employment periods, those hours may be extended beyond the normal work day and may, on limited occasions require weekend work. o May require travel

Preferred Minimum Experience/Education

• Pursuing a career in recruiting and/or marketing preferred.

• Jr. Recruiter reports directly to the Director of Fleet Management
