Position Overview:
Astound Broadband is currently searching for an Employee Resource Groups (ERG), Manager! You will be responsible for the launch, support and growth of ERGs, including managing the strategy, initiatives, programs and partnerships across the company. This will include serving as liaison between ERG leadership and the DEI team and providing strategic guidance and oversight of ERGs, executive champions and other key stakeholders. The successful candidate will understand the business impact of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) and will leverage key metrics, communications, and strategies to drive positive business outcomes. The candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with quickly shifting priorities, be committed to process improvement, standardization and creating sustainability.
Where you will work:
The opportunity offers the flexibility to work from your home office or a nearby Astound office, or a combination of both. This individual may be based remotely near any of Astound’s major markets including but not limited to:
Princeton, NJ, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Missouri, Massachusetts, Indiana, Kansas, and Lehigh Valley, PA.
A Day in the Life of the Employee Resource Groups, Manager:
Coordinate and manage all aspects of the launch and mobilization of ERGs across the company
Provide direct support to ERG leaders by overseeing the creation of annual ERG operations, planning, programming and project management to advance employee engagement and inclusion
Create ERG handbook, policies, procedures and governance to ensure effective and sustainable organizational structures and growth
Partner closely with HR and cross-functional business leaders to promote ERG activities and ensure engagement
Track, analyze and report out on ERG metrics on monthly basis, including creation of ERG deliverables
Research, activate and manage ERG technology platform and event management tool to provide optimal collaboration and engagement space for all ERG members and leaders
Serve as liaison between ERG leadership and DEI team to develop robust and impactful programming that is educational and celebrates the uniqueness of various cultures
Develop and recommend materials, resources, toolkits, and new tools to support employee engagement initiatives across the team (e.g., marketing collateral, toolkits, onboarding information, reporting templates, surveys etc.)
Position will have up to 15% travel
Manage additional projects as assigned
What You Bring to the Table:
5+ years of progressive work experience
Strong background and understanding of DEI in a corporate environment
Experience working with Employee Resource Groups
Experience working with HR partners / diversity stakeholders
Excellent verbal and written skills with an ability to communicate effectively with various levels.
Strong interpersonal skills, relationship-building and collaborative skills to work with diverse groups and stakeholders across the organization and at all levels.
Strong organizational skills, work ethic, initiative, and attention to detail
Demonstrated success in tactical implementation, project management and operational excellence.
Experience with data tracking, analysis and creating reports.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Proficient in the utilization of all the Microsoft Office Suite programs, including, but not limited to MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.
Education:
B.A./B.S. degree in related discipline (e.g., Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Diversity & Inclusion, Ethnic Studies, Multicultural Marketing or related field)

The base salary range in NY, CT, and MD for this position is $85,000-$105,000, plus opportunities for bonus and benefits, if applicable. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities. It is specific to the states listed above and may not be applicable to other locations.
