We’re evolving the core of our technology platform and need more hands and minds in our Software Engineering team. Recreo has a strong engineering culture and is focused on delivering innovative solutions for our clients. What will you be doing?

The next step in our vision is to roll out new features and enhancements and ensure the platform evolves to a best-in-class superannuation and investments administration system built on modern cloud-based technology.

You will work within a team of engineers and business analysts, be involved in an array of exciting projects working across all aspects of the Recreo platform including the configuration of end-user environments, engineering of core services, and the development of business-critical functions.

Some of your key accountabilities:

• Work collaboratively with team members and other internal teams
• Writing clear, succinct, maintainable, testable, secure and working code to agreed standards and guidelines
• Debug complex problems that span across multiple systems
• Analyse and deconstruct complex problems spaces in order to implement software solutions that are simple, maintainable and functional
• Identify and clearly document code designs
• Produce automated unit tests to validate software functionality is correct
• Refactor existing code to improve efficiency, maintainability, performance and reliability

The key technical skills and experience we are looking for are (our more senior roles will require more years of experience in all areas):

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 1 years’ experience in C#/.NET framework
  
• Front-end JavaScript frameworks (desirable)

• Producing high-quality code utilising unit testing framework and code review practices
• Version control tools such as Git and Azure DevOps
